Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing to share with you the challenging ministry that God has given me to return to Bolivia this summer. I have been chosen to go on a short-term mission trip to Bolivia June 24th through July 4th with a group from Orange Hill Baptist Church. This will be my fourth trip to Bolivia as I have grown to love the Ayore Indians that our missionaries serve.

We have several ministries planned where we will be able to share the love of Christ with the peoples of Bolivia during our trip. We will be working to complete the church we started last year with Toni & Placido Mercado, Dan & Jenny Strebig, and Angela & Bubba Massey (S.A.M. missionaries) at the Ayore village of Fua. We will be conducting four children’s Bible clubs in Fua and Santiago. We will also continue to build strong relationships with the adults of San Jose and Santiago by having separate Bible studies with the Ayore men and women at the church in town. I am excited to see what God will charge me with this year. I hope you will see the value in what we will try to accomplish as a team for the glory of our Savior.

I am asking first and foremost for your prayers for both myself and the team from Orange Hill. Please pray God will open the hearts of the people we encounter in Bolivia as well as open our hearts for the changes He wants to make in us. Also, pray for the health, safety, and preparedness of our team from now to the completion of the trip.

Secondly, I want to give you the opportunity to give financially toward this mission, if you so desire. Please pray and ask God if He would have you contribute to my trip. The cost is $1,600.00 per team member, which covers airfare, lodging, food, and materials. Also, as a team we need to raise $5000.00 for our construction projects. Please don’t feel obligated, but give as the Lord leads you.
